Downtown Colonial Beach joined a crowd of local residents for the ribbon-cutting ceremony conducted by the CB Chamber of Commerce for Market on Main, located at 201 Wilder Avenue.
Market on Main, created by Ice House Brewery owners Susan Quinn and Chuck Woodward, brings something truly special to our community—a collection of food, beverage, and retail concepts all under one roof, creating a new place for residents and visitors to gather, grab a bite, enjoy a drink, shop, and experience more of what makes Colonial Beach such a wonderful place to be.

The Potomac Perk Coffeehouse, is an exciting concept created by Bob Busick of Bob's Bean Roastery. This snazzy new coffeehouse, managed by Reilly Clifton, gives coffee and bagel lovers another great reason to spend time downtown, whether you're starting your morning, meeting up with friends, or looking for an afternoon pick-me-up.
The Drunken Donut, featuring pastry creations by Brady Melson adds something sweet—and a little playful—to the Market on Main’s stellar lineup.
Island Eat, channeling Caribbean vibes and again showcasing the talents of Chef Essington Grell, brings even more flavor to the mix, offering another delicious option for locals and visitors to enjoy.
Ice House Tap Room, a proverbial CB favorite on the Monroe Bay side of the peninsula, has found a home in mini-version on the river side, and rounds out the experience with a welcoming place to relax, gather, and raise a glass.
