Saturday, May 2d was the perfect day for the easy, breezy "Hats & Horses" Kentucky Derby Party fundraiser for Downtown Colonial Beach on Town Hill. Nearly 100 folks decked out in Derby finery -- CB-style, of course -- enjoyed, great games, food, camaraderie, and the televised live 152nd Run for the Roses.
The unforgettable afternoon of Southern charm, celebration, and community impact was centered around the thrill of Derby Day, and featured all-access to an elevated Derby experience, including:

But, this wasn't just a part -- it was a purpose to directly support the revitalization of Downtown Colonial Beach, helping to create a vibrant, sustainable future for our local businesses, events, and community spaces. All net revenue will be reinvested into the community through DCB's preservation-based economic development efforts.
