Topside Federal Credit Union Supports Downtown Colonial Beach with Generous Donation

Downtown Colonial Beach (DCB) is grateful to have been selected as the nonprofit recipient of Topside Federal Credit Union’s recent Shred It! event held at their Dahlgren location. This community initiative not only helps residents securely dispose of sensitive documents but also gives back to local organizations making a difference.

During a special presentation, Topside Marketing Director Lauren Bruning presented a donation check to DCB President Eric Nelson and Treasurer Cathy Cavender, while members of the DCB Board looked on with appreciation.

This generous contribution will be applied to several upcoming projects focused on enhancing downtown Colonial Beach—from beautification efforts and community events to initiatives that strengthen local businesses and attract visitors to our charming waterfront town.
