Meet the Board of DCB

Downtown Colonial Beach or DCB is comprised of four Committees governed by a Board of Directors. The committees are: Organization Committee, Economic Vitality Committee, Design Committee, and Promotion Committee.

• The Organization Committee focuses on building collaboration among a broad range of public and private sector groups, organizations and constituencies and focuses on the finacial and logistical aspects of DCB.

• The Economic Vitality Committee concentrates on strengthening and growing the district’s economic base by developing effective strategies for business retention and recruitment.

• Design Committee plays a key role in shaping the physical image of Main Street as a place attractive to shoppers, investors, business owners and visitors.

•  

• Promotion Committee deals with marketing the downtown area's assets to residents, visitors, investors and others through special events, retail promotions and activities that improve the way the downtown area is perceived.
